Policies and Privacy

At Crosslight Photography, our goal is always a satisfied customer!

We want to make doing business easy, and we want you to be satisfied with our work.

  1. Best results are achieved when properties are prepared for photography. We offer a Prep Guide to help with preparations. Failing to prioritize property preparation will generally lead to lower quality images.

  2. Travel charges may be required for some shoot locations outside of our standard service area. We will let you know up front if this applies to your appointment.

  3. Still imagery is usually delivered within 24 hours, but occasionally situations may prevent us from delivering your media in a 24-hour timeframe. All media, unless communicated in writing or email, should be delivered in 48 hours. If any part of an order will be delivered later than 48 hours, we will communicate this in email or a phone call to you directly, and we will likely have addition remedies for the situation.

  4. Payment is due after your preview your images and media. Unless you have made separate arrangements with us, your images will be unlocked and downloadable after your payment has been received.

  5. Upon payment in full, you receive non-exclusive rights of usage with the specific exclusion of the rights of re-sale or re-use by any other 3rd party. These rights include any still photo, video, clip, optical data capture or media that Crosslight Photography creates. If you require exclusive rights to the media we create or wish to re-sell or re-use our media, a new contract and pricing agreement will have to be created.

  6. Deposits are rarely needed. Commercial jobs or jobs with special requirements may require deposits and if needed, a deposit is considered non-refundable.

  7. One round of edits will be included for each video project. Additional footage or changes to the project will result in a change in project costs, and possibly a change in post-production charges. All editing requests must be made by email and will be confirmed by return email.

  8. Crosslight Photography may make use of music and sound effects for which we have permission to use. Royalties for the use of popular music as well as stock imagery or video will be paid by the client.

  9. Crosslight Photography is a certified FAA unmanned aerial systems operator and will operate according to the rules governed by the FAA. Some locations may be unavailable for aerial photos or video and in the event that special permissions are required, client agrees to allow suitable time to acquire such permissions (often more than 90 days).

  10. Privacy is important to us at Crosslight Photography. We will not sell your personal or company data to anyone at anytime, and we employ secure safeguards to protect your data.

  11. Crosslight Photography is operated by Crosslight Ventures, LLC, DBA Crosslight Photography.
